A Very Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

I don't really know who all has access to e-mail and whatnot, but that's really not the point...whether you read this on December 24th or January 17th the message is clear: ZA wishes everyone a very very happy Christmas...and oh yeah - a quite exciting new year as well!

As for plans next week...nothing is set in stone as of yet, but chances are we shall be gathering a great deal in the coming days. Which is always a grrrreat thing to do! Yeehaw! Anyways, I hope to go sledding w/everyone, as well as more fun and enjoyment with UNO and Mr. Peepers! ??? OK - Oh yeah, and the SoBe grape drink that tastes more like wine than anything...or whatever.

And I will also be hosting the new 3rd annual New Years ZA Fest!!!! Yes, you too can be a part of history as we bring in the new year with great fun.
It will probably also be a great time to give away some good prizes, so be sure to attend...you just might learn something!!! Oh yeah...if you don't already know, the party will be on Sunday, December 31st starting early in the afternoon and will last ALL NIGHT LONG! That's right, my friends! Hope to see y'all there!

Other than that, I think I will have a nice-sized ZaFest sometime mid-week next week, so I'll keep everyone posted as to what's going on. We shall also have a CyberPalace (or should we say CyberCampus) meeting sometime in that time period...or maybe 2 of 'em...or just maybe 3!!! Yuus!

Ya know...it's been a really really long time since I've written an E-ZA -- so maybe sometime soon I'll get one off the presses...I know everyone will be just ecstatic to read more of my hysterical writing!!!

Once again, a Very Merry Christmas!!!

A warm Cyberpalace Christmas welcom!

Welcome. There, I said it :)

Anyways, I haven't really addressed all the Cyberpalace directors much over the past few weeks about the "State of the Palace", just because of the fact that not much has happened, and I have other personal endeavours that must be attended to. So I guess this is the first time since Thanksgiving break that I've had a chance to write an e-mail about Cyberpalace in general.

Then again, you guys know me pretty well so many of you can take things out of context...but I think during Christmas break we should have plenty of time to "discuss business" and hopefully lead Cyberpalace into a successful new year.

So tonight I'm going to address everyone with some of the changes/future plans regarding Cyberpalace. Nothing too drastic, but understand I have certain goals that I want to achieve, and must change some things around in order to pursue those goals. And I think everyone else will agree with my decisions. Once everyone is home from break I think we'll all be a little more open to talk about this.

Well, tonight was "Step 1" into transforming Cyberpalace...in a way. And as you may already know, that step was re-arranging my basement!!! Woohoo!!! I totally got rid of one of my tables (the big 8-foot one) so now I have compressed my "computer-space" down to 2 tables, which is fine, because that is all we shall need. The 2 tables will be able to hold 5 computers, which at this time is the maximum amount I want to have around down here (more on that later). It is no coincidence that there are 5 Cyberpalace Directors . Anyways, there is now a lot more open space down here to do other things, such as play cards, hang around and just have a plain old-fashioned good time. It seemed as though during these last few gatherings, many of us seemed a little, well, "bored" with some of the things we were doing. I was personally very agitated with the actions of some people , so I want to "cut-down" on the size of my "Cyberfests" to better accomodate my closest friends (and business partners at the same time!) Also, I think it will alleviate some tensions that I have placed on my parents, since I know that they trust you guys the most out of anyone -- and you guys know that as well, so there are many different reasons why I want to do this.

I don't want to get too in-depth about this issue, but I also want to clear up any misunderstandings by saying the above. The above decision I have made (with the help of others here) was done in the best interest of the "Cyberpalace Directors" meaning the 5 of us. It is very difficult sometimes to differentiate "Cyberfests" from regular "ZaFests" and the different circles of friends I share. But I want to make it clear that "Cyberfests" are meant exclusively for the 5 Cyberpalace Directors. If you have any questions or comments regarding this decision, please let me know and we shall discuss.

Once we all come back and meet again, we can move on to "Step 2" which is basically brainstorming ideas "together" (key word) and how we can all contribute, no matter how far away...or how slow of an internet connection we have :)

The best is yet to come!

Best Regards,

I'm so excited...

I'm about to lose control and I think I like it....wait....what???? I am listening to a Power Wheels commercial right now and I think I am losing my mind. And not the Papa Roach way either. Ok...whatever!

Christmas is only 14 days, 2 hours and 31 minutes away! How exciting! What can I say...the Christmas spirit is everywhere! Lots of schnoow is here, even though I think it is starting to melt, but...who knows? One thing is certain: sled riding is really fun...or maybe just funny :) Although today Eddie and I went and it was sorta pathetic because we attempted to coast on half-melted snow mostly on grass and mud. Therefore, our professionally-made sleds were unable to move in the mass of muck. Oh well, we had a good time nonetheless!

I can't wait until everyone gets back for next weekend. No big plans yet, but I know a few fun gatherings will sure be in store. We will play lots of Uno, Euchre, music, and such. I will also distribute ZA presents (and presence) to everyone, so I hope all of you are excited to come back. Sure beats those frothy exams! Ach! A saying that hasn't been heard for awhile...how strange!

Oh well...one of these days I plan on looking back on the ZA archives (it's contains over 3 years of rich ZA history now!) so this will be interesting just to look back. Wow...I was 16 then - how amazing! Remember those days? Incredible. Junior Year of high school...those were the days! In a way, I would love to live it all over again, but then again I would only be 16...it sucked being 16, ya know? At least for me, because I didn't get my license until 17 :( One of these days I'm going to compile this really epic stories about the last few years (and high school in general). It will be really fun, and I know everyone will really enjoy reading the nostalgic look back at Padua life! Fun schtuff, eh? Yeah, I thought so.

Well, I'm working at the rink right now, so I really don't have "too" much more time to reflect and schtuff, so I'll leave all you guys hanging here for awhile. Until next time...have a fun time - and a safe time!

-Chris

Well everyone...GOOD LUCK!!!

For most people at least, exams for the fall semester are next week. And I've probably personally told each individual, but I'll say it again to everyone hear - I WISH YOU THE BEST on your exams!!! Even though Santa is just around the corner, we all gotta "buckle-down" and put our noses to the many spinning grindstones. The time has come! Yes, my friends...the time HAS come!

So once it's all said and done everyone will be happier and able to enjoy Christmas vacation and have lots and lots and lots of good times!!!
Yahoo!!! BOOYAH!

Oh well...enuff for now - don't want to keep any of you guys from studying hard. But everyone please do their very best and don't let your teacher's coffee get mixed up with anything.

Then you'll come running back to this town -- And I'll be there...Yes - I'll be there!!!

Secret Santas - Hrmmm...what to get?

Wow!!! Me -- a Secret Santa? Of all people? This is just superb!

I have so many ideas of what I can get my "secret present recipient". I am currently contemplating it all. What should I buy? What can a Hamilton note buy these days? Something worthwhile...something that someone can treasure for a very, very long time to come. Well...I have taken time out and thought about this. Some potential gifts have popped into my head, although I have ruled out some. Such as the following:

*2 24-can cases of Pepsi (after a few days, once consumed it's all forgotten
about!)
*10 Chicken Tenders Sandwiches from Burger King (same as above) *A house (well...a really really small house) - not too practical *A mouse (the computer kind - even though this would last awhile, just the thought of giving someone a "mouse"!) *A mouse (the real kind -- no...they are squeaky and some are really fat)
*6 pair of flashy 90210 socks (would bring fashion to an all-time low) *A P. Jay's pizza (sure, the memory may last a lifetime -- but I can order that anytime now :) *A Chia pet (only good if you are bald, then you can use the seeds on your scalp - no potential recipients here are bald, though)
*5 decks of playing cards...that way you can open up your own Las Vegas!
*5 decks of pinochole cards...who the f*** plays pinochole?????
*7.093 gallons of gasoline (since this number is soooo unstable, I cannot make any promises) *1250 sheets of blank paper (you go out and buy 200 - and half ends up getting thrown out at the end of the school year!) *40 quarters (a viable gift, but it can be used as an automatic weapon if used in a certain way)
*2 cans of compressed air (also an automatic weapon...ZA does not give weapons for Xmas presents) *20 blank CD-R's (they'll get buffer underruned anyways)
*6 bags of Sunkist Fruit Gems (after the first quarter of a bag you'll get a stomach ache...believe me - i know from experience!) *A brand new shiny shoehorn (why pay $10 when I can just give you a couple of my rusty ones - with free string too!) *A brand new pair of...OK i won't even go there :) *A brand new BIG BOY shirt (there is only ONE Big Boy shirt!) *30 33-cent stamps (xmas cards will be mailed by then, so they'll probably get lost or somethin') *One really really big cookie (MMMM....C is for COOOOOKIE - ok...that's enough sesame street references for now) *50 pounds of aluminum cans...no wait - that's how i'm getting $$$ to buy the gift in the first place!
*12 packages of hot dogs (no wait...then the Hot Dog Protective Agency would be after me) *Lots of cheese (ewwww!) *Lots of Hay (no horsies, though) *Lots of Topsoil (gotta wait 'till easter!) *Lots of Gravy mix (that was already a thanxgiving present!) *Lots of Big poofy cotton balls (too afraid to know what they would be used
for)
*A wooden baseball bat (what did I say about weapons?) *10 bags of assorted-sized rubber bands -- multicolored too! (what do I expect you to build...some kinda hotdog cloning machine?) *A case of unpunched Florida voting ballots (then everyone would be after
ya)
*A 3-hole 8.5x11 punch (couldn't find 'em anywhere)
*4 free admissions to public skate at the rink (Oh geez...imagine that!)
*1 free hour of philisophical conversation with ZA (those are already free to all friends) *A steel folding chair (ok...i'm losing my mind - What have I said about
weapons!!!)
*Chinese ho (little long-term value)

Well...let's say I'm still thinking!

Just a huge mass of ZA!!!

It's true...it's true. Only 21 more days until Santa and his reindeer guide the magical sleigh across the night sky, bringing wonderful gifts to all the good little boys and girls. Even ZA and friends!!! Has everyone been good this year? Well, I know all of you have -- so I know that everyone will get good presents on Christmas.

And that's where I introduce for the first time - ZAnta Claus. Yes my friends, ZAnta would like to proudly share the good times with all. And no better way than with the greatest presents in the world. ZAnta is a very generous person, and would like to share all his wealths with everyone. But that's still 3 weeks away!!! There's a lot more to look forward to in the meantime. Time is of the essence -- and I want all of it to be well-spent.

I don't have too many plans outside of a very broad idea. But a few things are for certain, such as the following:

-Everyone gets good presents from ZAnta
-Someone will be the lucky recipient of a shoehorn (with string around it,
too!)
-Someone will most likely receive a loincloth (but I'm not quite sure if they'll have to wear it) -ZA will eat lots of ZA -ZA will also eat lots of the following: (Chicken Tenders sandwiches, mozzerella sticks, assorted fish) -We will listen to a lot of Guster -Brian is BANNED from messing up any more hard drives w/Partition Magic -Stink will be very, very hungry -UNO is here to stay!!!
-Exams SUCK!
-Packard Bell Sound cards are no longer an issue -It must not snow anymore!!!!
-ZA will gain over 25 pounds during Christmas break (ZA weighing 175?
WHAT???)
-ZA WILL re-arrange the ZA shack before xmas break!!!

That's just a short list for now...more will come later!

Just a huge mass of confusion

I think everyone here knows exactly what I mean...

So much is going on in my life right now that it's hard to find an ounce of sanity or any sort of peace of mind. But that's life, I guess. The sheer fact that there is soooo much happening -- it's just making me go totally crazy and that. I think the worst part is that I'm cooped up here at home and it seems like there's no escape (except for the rink). Wait -- didn't I say I was going to Florida this Wednesday? Well, obviously I chose not to.
Then why am I complaining about being "cooped up"? I dunno. THAT'S WHAT IS SO CONFUSING!!!! ARRRRGH!!! What am I to do? I need to express myself!!!!
In what way? I've tried many ways many countless times...but it never seems to get out right. Hrmmm...There's sooooo much I want to do right now that I just can't...I have so many yearnings and desires that for some circumstances I cannot reach.

I'm just taking things one day at a time and keeping a relaxed attitude about everything, as I usually do. But many times it is SOOO hard, and it takes a hell of a lot of patience. Where do I want to go in life? What do I want to do? I have no clue. As I said before, there are a great number of things I want to accomplish, but I just don't know where to start!!!
Frustration is moving in, and I am starting to doubt myself, even though I have extreme confidence that everything will work out ok in the big picture.
So at least I have something to look forward to. I know everything will be all right in the end :)

What am I doing now? Not much. It's 1 AM and I'm sitting here typing away.
It's a Thursday night, and I was very excited when I woke up. I got up, got a haircut, went to school for a little while, stopped at the rink to pick up my paycheck, got a P.Jay's Pizza for lunch/dinner and came home to watch some TV. The energy was there. But there really wasn't much for me to do, besides sit around here. So I decided to go to the rink for a little while, but that was getting boring watching Bernie do homework. So I came back home, called some friends - worked on Brendan's computer - and watched some more TV. I thought maybe I would go out somewhere tonight, but unfortunately there was really nothing to do by myself. So I decided to take a nap for a couple of hours. Yet I was still a mass of energy and I couldn't take it anymore!!! GRRRR!!! So it was around 10:30 and I decided to take a walk up to the rink again, this time to see Ed and Mark. It made me feel much better, but I knew everything would be the same when I got home. And it was. My mom kept asking me all this stuff about "what was going on" and I was in no condition to go all deep into my life about everything. Parents don't understand anyways. They don't need to understand...at least that's the way I see it. I'm just one confused kid, I guess.

But one thing about being confused -- there's absolutely nothing wrong with it!!! That is, if you know how to handle it. Right now I am very lonely, and I guess the best way to deal with my problem is to write to all my friends. At least you can probably relate to and understand what I am talking about. My parents try to make me believe that I have 'problems'. I have very little 'problems' in my life -- everything is going very good for me right now. But in a sense, there is an emptiness where I need something...or someone. When everyone left for school, it sort of left me with a huge hole where schtuff used to be. And now I'm trying to "fix" that hole. And sometimes I feel like I am succeding, but other times I wonder how well I am actually faring. As I mentioned before, though, everything will turn out allright in the end -- I can trust myself that I will make the right decisions.

Oh, and BTW -- before I forget to tell anyone -- I had such a great time over the Thanksgiving Holiday!!! I thank everyone for taking part in the festivities during the weekend, either Friday or Saturday. I really really really enjoyed seeing everyone back again. I'm very glad to have all of you as friends, and I hope to continue to have the support of everyone through the tough times in life. It's not that long until Christmas, and once again I cannot wait to see everyone back for that!!! We'll have even more fun 'n'
excitement!!! Just wait and see!

I don't want to scare anyone out there...I just really haven't had an opportunity to have a real heart-to-heart conversation with most of you guys 'n' gals in quite a while. And I guess now I'm up for that instead of writing insanely idiotic incoherent e-mails like I do most of the time. I dunno, I guess once in awhile it's time for a serious little conversation.
And right now it's what I need more than anything. Life will have it's fun -- and oh yes -- there's also time for philisophy!!!

Thanks everyone for being such great friends!

ZA Happenings - Week of Easter Vacation!

Ok, the buck stops here...it is now time to reveal the schedule of Za happenings for the week of April 23, 2000

And here it goes...

Wednesday - 6:00pm-? Regular ZaFest (computers, etc.) no biggie, but this is obviously going to be quite a blast.

Friday - 6:00pm-6:00am - The ALL-OUT CyberPalace spectacular! Come one come all to the event of the new millenium! It doesn't get any better than this, as hardcore gamers, great and small join once again in an epic battle for the crown of CyberGamer or the month! That's right, whoever can be the deadliest fragger will receive a complimentary prize of Za Bucks, and an invitation to Cyberfest 2000 Beta! Much fun will be had by all, so be sure to be there -- or be squashed by Janet Reno!

Ok...the first aspect of CyberPalace I will like help with is the games reviews. I would like to start these reviews next week, if everything goes right...I need some GOOD, ENTHUSIASTIC and ORIGINAL writers out there, who can give fair reviews on the latest PC games. If you have any ideas, let me know ASAP!

Once I receive a review, I will edit and post it up on my mtg-palace.com web page. When I get enough, I will go public with it, and start the great barrage or advertising...this will be very fun, so let's rock!

Also on Wed/Fri, I plan to do more discussing of CyberPalace in general, so get your thinking caps prepared, 'cause the CEO will definitely be wanting lots of suggestions and plans!

If you have anything immediate or really want to tell me, e-mail me back!!!
I will be out of my office (the ZA shack) until Wednesday, so I will be unable to take any phone calls during this time period.

Thanx4Za!!!
-Chris "The ZA Meister" Czaplicki

WaaaazzzZAaap!

Ok, I will now bother everyone with my delightful schedule for the week of Easter Break...hopefully my cruelly busy schedule can accomodate some ZaFesting. Let's take a look...

Monday 24 - Work 9-5:30, School 6-9 (no chance in hell) Tuesday 25 - Work 7-3, School 6-9 (no chance in hell) Wednesday 26 - Work 9-5 (ZAFEST AFTER WORK BABY!!!) Thursday 27 - Work 7-3, School 6-9 (no chance in hell) Friday 28 - Work 9-6 (ZAFEST AFTER WORK BABY!!!) Saturday 29 - Work 4-11 (no chance in hell) Sunday 30 - Work 11-4 (will I still be awake at this time?)

Ok, so that's pretty much my schedule as it stands for right now...I'm working 55 hours (phew) and have 3 nights of school, so I deserve some kind of enjoyment while I can :)

Anyways, next week is my last week at the rink, then I move over to Senior Grass cutting alternate days. Here is how my tentative schedule will look beginning May 1:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday - Work 9-5
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - Work 7-3

Hopefully 48 hours/wk won't be too much of a burden -- this will also accomodate any evening social gatherings that may take place...

Not to mention the financial benefits are very appealing, and will help continue the legacy of Cyber Palace!
